Keeping your pets healthy

Our pets are like parts of the family. When we lose one, it’s like someone has robbed a family member from us. I know everybody has their favorite type of pet that they like the best. Some people choose birds, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, or maybe just get an aquarium and throw some fish in it. A pet is a good way to give a child responsibility by feeding them, cleaning up after them, and making sure they have a good supply of water. This is especially true with the fish, don’t let them run out of water!

Since we love our pets so much, we should award them with the best things possible. If you own a cat, then you want your cat to have a broad range of toys and a nice liter box if you are keeping it indoors. You can give the dog Premium dog food so you can be sure they stay healthy and have a nice shinny coat by getting pet food supplies at a discount online. Maybe with the rabbits you can treat them to nice head of lettuce every once in awhile. I have found that rabbits really like the lettuce; I think it’s like the steak in a rabbit’s vegetarian diet. Just make sure if you own a pet that you do everything possible to insure it has a long and healthy life. Kids naturally like pets, show them some simple routines to help keep the pets happy and clean!

  • Taking a trip south

I took a trip to New Orleans to attend the Mardi Gras festivities and because of a group of friends had been talking about making the trip , and I was ready to party. I left Seattle, WA. at 10:00 PM and I was in New Orleans the next morning at 9.30 AM. One of my buddies who books travel online all the time was even able to find some Expedia Promo codes that allowed him to book the hotel and flight and save additional dollars above their already low fares. I found where my Hotel was located and I was ready to see the Big Speak Easy, Nawleans as the locals call it. I wound up on the wrong side of town and I prayed that I would get out of there alive. Some of the people gave the appearance that they did not care if you were dead or alive. If I had taken a tour of the city I would never have been subjected to that kind of Fear.

If you take a tour of a city you can find out a lot of the history of the town and a lot of important people that were responsible for shaping the town into what it is today. I know New Orleans has a lot of repair to do at this time because of hurricane Katrina, but I think the great city will be back stronger than ever before. It’s French Creole culture are made up of some of the finest eating in the world.

  • Creating a new look

There are numerous procedures available today to enhance your looks. There are elective surgeries like breast enhancements to injectable solutions to decrease wrinkles or eyes that will give you a younger more appealing lure. The simple solution that many use are the Crest Whitestrips to help enhance your smile which is a simple cosmetic fix. There is a growing trend for men to have some type of plastic surgery done. Primarily those that are getting back into the dating scene after a divorce and looking to get rid of those love handles. There are certain risks with any surgery and this is why when looking for cosmetic surgeons you should always check to see their board qualifications and whether or not they belong to any professional associations.

When considering any type of plastic surgery you should always check their credentials and make sure that they are board certified in the field that they are working in. This can be done through local professional associations like the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. These large professional groups have a code of ethics and standards that Dr.’s must adhere to be part of the organization and can help patients when questions arise. With the rise in little boutique shops you would be surprised who is behind the scalpel.

  • Share the holiday photos

This Christmas will be the first time in 6 years that we will not be traveling to in-laws to celebrate the holidays. We would travel across the country and drag our Christmas presents with us to show our love and appreciation. We will also be able to take in the amazing Christmas Lights displays that have become a family tradition on top of the hill where we used to live. It is amazing the simple things that you started when you were young can be passed on your to kids. With the holidays fast approaching now is the time to start planning for those special family gatherings so that you are able to enjoy time with family and not busy rushing around. The world is changing and making time for the family to enjoy and create new traditions is going to be more important than ever.

  • Time To Reload

Wow, has this summer flown by or what? I can hardly believe that very soon the crisp morning air will arrive, the leaves will turn and the romping of bucks will be seen at twilight. Its only August, but if you think about it is a great time to begin reloading our spent shells and prepare for the bug hunt this fall. There are numerous websites out there that get us up to speed, but the true home of the “Re loaders Experts” for reloading supplies is at www.sinclairintl.com. This is a great site for every hunter and for every re-loader from novice to expert. Their reloading equipment is top notch and user friendly. What I really like is the ease of shopping, where I can look at all the kits and get complete details of what I am buying. They simply have everything you will need to get ready this year from deburring tools and other case preparation tools to loading blocks, shell holders, presses and reloading dies. Right now they are having a special on their reloading log book and Berry’s Tumbler. You can request a catalog as well as sign up to their newsletter via email to keep up on what is new and on sale. They have a great customer service department and great shipping terms. Plus they also offer a multitude of other gun related parts, tools and videos. However, this is your one stop reloading site for all your needs from start to finish.

    Shooting Supplies

It simply amazing how many websites are out there selling gun parts. You could spend hours shifting through them all, looking for price, shipping, content etc. What I want and I would recommend is to find one with these items plus customer service. That is a real challenge to any store online; how do you bring customer service to your clients? Well, one store offering gun parts has brought us technical video clips to educate us and retain customer loyalty. I just watched a complete program on how to build your AR-15. They also offer clips form there trademarked “Gun Tech” series on gun sights, product reviews such as for Brownells competition three gun case, scope ring alignment and even how to use ear plugs. Here is an excellent clip of Brownell’s AR-15 Magazine I love companies that love what they do and seek to keep me the customer happy by offering these free how to clips. When was the last time you saw that? Plus, their prices are right on the money too.  They offer top of line parts for your shotgun, rifle, pistol and outstanding how to books and videos. They show you exactly how their shopping cart works by walking you through all the steps and finally a great guarantee. They have been around for 70 years now and still offer a 100% money back guarantee. They also offer a flat shipping rate of $11.50 so you don’t have to shop everywhere looking for that final price. I love their honesty and transparency.

    Simple poker online

zynga3We have recently added the zynga.com app to our iPhone that allows us to play Texas Hold em with friends and others from across the globe. They give you up to 5k Zynga poker chips just for joining and then additional chips for inviting others to join you. Now keep in mind that this is all for entertainment. You can also buy drinks and food items for others at the poker table and even talk a little smack if you get a card on the river.
Now you can avoid all the smoke and lines and play cards online to find the latest updates and sites to play with the best payouts. The site is simple and easy for anyone to navigate and find your game. I especially like their bingo tips that help you get the most out of your online playing experience. For example they tell that you should find a room that has fewer players thus increasing your chances to win. This makes a lot of sense since you are playing against fewer player your chances of getting the blackout or winning one of the other games is much better.

  • Bring on the party

glowIts hard to believe but the football season is just less than two months away and that means teams and fans are gearing up for a another great season. We all know that its more than just a game, its an American Institution. Its a time for friends and families to get together and celebrate. The last Super Bowl was a great matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals. While we lived in the NW it was still great to have friends over and get all the Super Bowl party favors to then take on a new team for that weekend to cheer on. My wife came up with a great idea to have various party favors like glow sticks in various sizes that would be a fun treat for the kids. It turned out that the adults were just as in to the sticks and making colorful cheer items than the kids. What was great is that you can order these sticks to be in bulk or by the piece so that you can mix and match to come up with some very creative ideas.

I did a quick search for Super Bowl and a ton of ideas came up. They have Super Bowl party games, First Down Appetizers, special dip recipes and invitation ideas. There was also a great idea to use glow sticks in your teams colors to liven up the decor and give out various gifts to your guests. Guys love the game and the wives love the food and frolic with friends. Its bigger than New Years Eve in my opinion. So, from the invitation to door prizes, to food recipes and drink ideas, to glow sticks in the shape of footballs. Don’t end up like me with a great idea and not to follow through. Plus, you will take the heat off your wife from all the planning it takes to pull this off. Enjoy!

One of the more frustrating issues with any software upgrade is that just when you got used to using the old tools and were very comfortable with them, things changed and now who must learn a new menus. Well, thanks to the people at www.addintools. com you can now download the classic menus for several office tools. For example, they offer the classic menu styles for Office 2003 to be used with your Office 2007. Why not bring back the menus and tools of Word 2003 and use the classic style main menu and standard toolbar? Mothers day is coming

Does your Mom deserve something special on May 10th? Maybe a nice white gold chain or a pair of diamond earrings might make them smile on this special holiday coming up? I think jewelry is a great gift and it is also a gift that holds value. Many of you know I like to play in the stock market and buying something now that will be worth money later, is the way I like to roll. Jewelry fits into that thinking and its investment that can be worth more in the future. Not to mention, jewelry makes a great gift for all the ladies out there. I think they all like jewelry and with the right stones in them; they know just how much you think of them with a ring or bracelet on Mother’s  Day. So if you haven’t thought much about the perfect  gift this year; look to the jewelry department for your Mother’s Day answers!
