Companies spend millions on business trips in many cases so that managers, salespeople and executives can introduce potential clients to their products and services. In many ways, these trips cost more than just the money spent in that particular time period. There is an opportunity cost when salespeople are out in the field and not in their local area. When a salesperson travels and is not able to get a new client, the company loses money, so it is especially important for companies to find ways to cut down on expenses for those who travel. By cutting expenses, companies can save money that they can use for more trips in the future or offer more compensation to their employees through profit sharing.

In this economy, it is important to save as much money as possible as profits are lower in a down economy than when it is thriving. One great way to save money on business trips is to fly coach rather than business class. The savings are great and the inconvenience is very small. Business class does offer more room, but the cost is great on a small airplane. Also using conference management services of companies like CT Group travel can actually help save you money by finding the best group rates on hotel and flights. A sales representative should understand the need to cut travel expenses and traveling in coach class is usually not a concern on short intercontinental flights. If you have a large sales force, the savings can truly add up and you may be able to give the sales force more opportunities for bonuses using these savings.
Renting economy cars when needed instead of large, more expensive models can also save money in the long run. Although this savings will not be as obvious as air travel savings, the amount will add up over the year and will raise the bottom-line of a struggling firm. Also, when out-of-town, use a hotel finder service that will allow you to get the best deal in that city.

  • So there’s this newer trend running along side our attraction with the most desirable wire less items [1], and it’s the best way to keep their battery packs completely full. With lots of the brand-new pads and tablet pcs, cell phones, and notebook computers the only common headache is the most easy solution to keep them charged. I began browsing for what normally I could do with many of these various accessories and now I think about what I’d do without them. I additionally worry every night if I’ve got most of them on their proper wiring and charging up for the day ahead.

When the technology gizmos firstly hit the market there were cords interconnected with the Universal serial bus plug-ins on the notebook computer. This sounded like a relatively innovative choice to me in the first place. I was an admirer of the convenience that one could very easily connect the gadget in during the night while verifying e mail. Regrettably, like several things, this quickly became a trouble. How can I get my item with me throughout the house if it has to stay connected at the personal computer?

Afterward came the Universal serial bus wall adapter. I went seeking out one of these shortly once my first touch screen phone expense. I desired to put it in to the wall in my bed area so I would’ve it with me during the nighttime, but I did not have anything but the Flash recharging wire to charge it. The next thing I realised, the wall adapter was coming with many of the units I acquired.

In the last months, I’ve started to read and experience things about wire less recharging mats. From the things I seen initially, they were wanting certain cases for the accessories to utilize them. Fairly recently, this was eliminated. The world of wi-fi recharging is getting ready to bust wide open.

We should instead set a pin in that field. We will be back very quickly. At the moment, we need to take a look at the necessity of alternative concept [2]. Lots of negative people to environment friendly tech will suggest it’s tree-hugging talk to get customers to acquire high-priced accessories and that it’s all an absurd effort due to the fact none of the bad effects are definitely taking effect. Even if that is right, the only challenge with that statement is exactly how many folks are in the earth. As a consequence of the amount of people existing on the world and the quantity of them using coal and gas dependent electric power, we’ve started to have a difficulty. Now take into account the group of them that will have children and exactly how that will boost the number of men and women consuming electric energy and non-renewable fuels. The best conscientious thing to attempt is for hi-tech to feature earth-friendly opportunities today that can become natural green requisites later [3].

That being said, ladies and gentleman, I introduce to you the very first environmentally friendly method to charge wi-fi all of your mobile or portable tools, Panasonic’s brand new solar-powered wi-fi charging table. Due to be released in late this year or early 2012, the recent table will make use of solar powered energy received by the panels on the face of the table to charge up the items positioned on the table! It’s the potential future of a natural green photo voltaic tech that is Qi enabled.

What is Qi you may ask? Qi has been designed by the wireless power association as a default specification to be chosen by the companies of charging devices, like our new table, and the tools which they will recharge, such as your brand new smartphone that is touch screen enabled, views guides and has a foldout full-sized keyboard. This recent Qi engineering has only been around since the beginning of this period, but many people are wanting fast integration and a score of item launches. Making use of Qi with older wireless gizmos is guaranteed, and we will positively be learning more about Panasonic’s completely new solar-powered wire-less charging table and some other Qi facilitated battery chargers in the future.

If you need to explore more about solar pv and how to integrate it in your daily life I’d like to suggest you these different information:

    - [1] Here you can read more in detail the content relating to the solar table. Japantrends.com is a spin-off of CScout, it is just a web service to support visitors to discover the Nippon current market and its buyers producing the new high-tech information. They were the very first to report the headlines about the solar energy table totally wifi

    - [2] Here you may have a clear vision on how to use power from the sun to re-charge most item’s battery packs (i.e. cellular, vehicle batteries, etc…). If you’re not able to afford the cost to install a residential photovoltaic system, it might be an ideal starting point to introduce you to solar powered energy. The University of Illinois features a nice report on this page about a completely new high-tech that is going to radically extend battery life for mobile phones.

    - [3] If you’re able to pay the investment to place solar power panels for use in your residence (or meet the requirements for solar tax credits or rebates), here a few articles to help you know how solar power panels operate and how to add them in your life. Poolsolarpanels.org is a non profits blog website that’s focused entirely on pool heating systems. Rosalind (the writer) uses to say that it is often the initial step when choosing to use solar panel products. Most people start from swimming pool solar panels and determine how residential solar panels do the job, then want to pass to photo-voltaic for electricity.

  • Summer to many people means a fun, new wardrobe full of breezy tops and short shorts. But in a faltering economy the joy of summer is drained with few finances. Now there’s an easy way to make extra cash with little effort. All is not lost. Your shopping spree awaits.

Everyone has old gold lying around, lost and forgotten. Maybe it’s the friendship ring from a childhood friendship, your son’s old coin collection, or a hideous heirloom. The economy is now in a slump, and the only thing that goes up when the economy is down is precious metals. A great way to make easy cash is to get cash for gold. There are numerous online buyers who will welcome your gold with open arms, and in exchange, pay you a lot more than you thought your gold was worth.

Most buyers will request that you fill out an online form, and they will send you a package in the mail. After that, you can sell scrap gold in no time at all. All you have to do is send back a form, along with your gold, and you’ll receive a check in the mail. The only research you have to do is to ensure that they are a veritable company, and that you will have your gold returned to you if you are not happy with the sum they send. Once you send out your gold, your job is done. You’re now free to shop!

  • A custom wall plaque for your home

There are so many great ways that you can fix up your home and yard these days. Some take a lot of time and effort while other things can be really simple and quick to do. One of the simple things you can do is adding an address plaque to your yard. Sign Industries is a place that the address plaques are made from and they can come to you with a preprinted message like “welcome” or you can personalize it with your last name or address on it. They can help create custom wall plaques and other decorative signs for your home. These address rocks can instantly touch up any yard and make your home stand out in the neighborhood.

We all get mail, packages, and probably even pizza delivered to our homes from time to time. It can be hard to find where you live at, if you don’t have an address marker that clearly shows your address on it. These artificial rocks (that look real) are a great way to let people know where you are at. There is no way that you’re ever going to miss a package or get your pizza cold, because the delivery person couldn’t find your home. One of these beautiful address markers will be a sure way to show everyone where your house is at. Go see if you can find one that will look nice in your yard!

  • Get away to Branson

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Geile Leon. All opinions are 100% mine.

Looking for a place to go on vacation this summer? I have a great place for that next family vacation you are planning. Taking a little trip to Branson Missouri would be a great choice, and the kids would thank you for it. Especially after you take them to Silver Dollar City, that’s located in Branson. They have a theme park with rides that the kids and the adults would enjoy. There is also crafting and shops in the park for the mom. Many other attractions are in Branson. Such as the Dixie Stampede, Grand Music Country Hall, Legends In Concert, the Veterans Museum, and so much more. You will find plenty to do in Branson, and getting the best deals is easy. I would personally love to visit the Titanic Museum just to learn more about how this massive ship was sunk. You can find some great places to stay like the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing where they offer a great Shopping Package where you get a $25 gift card to spend at local shops. You can also look into their Fall in the City package that offers tickets to Silver Dollar City theme park and the Showboat Branson Belle! Plus deluxe accommodations and a $25 hotel food and beverage credit.
The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is also conveniently located to many of the main attractions in Branson and the property is beautiful. Whether you are staying on a family vacation or business meeting this property offers everything you could need.

Visit my sponsor: Enjoy an exhilarating weekend getaway in Branson!

  • Ford automation

I am so proud of Ford right now. They are doing all the right things to come back to profitability without having to take any government bail out money. Henry Ford started the automobile revolution by using the assembly line with a conveyor belt system that made more economical to make cars and thus expanding the market. A great innovative idea that has helped countless other car makers and industries produce products that are more affordable for masses. That is why the Ford spirit is an example of doing something right. Their second quarter profit is 2.3 billion, by restructuring some debt and selling some cars.  This is the type of example that we need to see.

ford_automationThey are taking responsibility for their own actions, selling off brands that no longer suit their business model, selling a car like the Fusion that is beating Toyota and to my heart, they are exploring an alternative energy car. This is who we need to be buying from when making a car purchase. I was a Chevy guy all my life, but now that brand belongs to Government Motors. I cannot believe that I am ready to switch brands but then again Henry Ford never envisioned something like this. Sorry Gm, but this family is moving to the American Brand. I love many other countries out there, we are all suffering but we need to applaud and stand by those firms that are true to the capitalist model and true to keeping good American jobs afloat. Good for you ford. PS, I still wish you would have kept the suicide doors on the Flex.

  • Software as a Service

I am helping out a good friend in building a renewable energy business that is quickly moving forward. We have done a good job tracking the the tax credits for our customers along with putting together a solid renewable energy program for their homes. However, we have already ran into issues though in our computer network system, cost and not having an IT department. One very clever idea out there is renting software and using software as a service or SaaS. There is also a core foundation of being able to do an employee survey to help gain ideas around synergies within the company and what new ideas can we look for when taking this product to market.

I found that they have a great service with their visual studio team foundation server at fraction of the cost where project control programming for your project can be exposed on the web. With all the software that I can rent, I can get set up in minutes and get my money back if I think it has not worked out in 30 days.  What we need is the project server hosting software which will help us track our timekeeping, Gannt charts etc which will give us better control over our projects and their costs. We have huge commercial projects where we will need to keep tract of financial’s and keep everyone on the team on track. You can watch a great clip on how all this software helps you and your business. Another hot item  is a team foundation server workgroup, where again I can rent for a fraction of the price with no need to hire an IT employee nor worry about depreciation costs. We are just the right fit for this type of company and you may to.

  • Bluedial Watches

That is when the Citizen watches come into the conversation.

    JarStore

Even with the new economy, some things just do not change. Our home is still our castle and if you are married, you know just how much a wife wants to beautify her home. Friends and family still come by, there are still summer parties and in fact with people going out less, wives want to have their house ready to display. One idea that we wives should continue to strive for is having a very warm scent about our home. When you first walk into a home and the front door opens, you will immediately get a smell and invariably will make a judgment call. Do you smell the cat, the dog, the evening dinner? Why not make that first impression a warm scent from a candle such as candle within an apothecary jars? At www.jarstore.com, you find a multitude of candles to choose from, all in a decorative jar with pleasant colors a warm scents to make you house a home. With apothecary jars, you can choose the size of the a jar such as clear and frosted as well as the style of the lid. I for one love their honeysuckle and the fresh cut grass for the hot summer months. You can sell all the seasonal scents at their website, especially to get ready for the fall where they have several chosen just for that season. The website is very well designed and easy to get around. As you know, my biggest issue is always the customer service, where jarstore.com excels. You can click if you have a broken jar, need an update or Order info. Make your home a welcoming home by using scented candles this year.

    Small Business Uniforms

One of the best ways that we can get our image across to our customers is in the uniforms that we wear.  If you think of a restaurant, each person has the brand on their uniform, while at the same time the uniform allows the customer to know what our role is within the business. We take this for granted, but our customers expect it. At the restaurant, what the host is wearing immediately tells the customer what they do and what type of restaurant this will be. This goes for the chef as well whose chef shirt is critical. We all look back at the kitchen and asses the professionalism of the chef. I found a solid company that can produce these uniforms for us at www.iDbyLandau.com. Look at the chef jackets and you will see that the iD0104 projects a different statement than the equally nice iD0131. Take a look at these chef coats again, you see the difference in image and branding. You need to take the time to put yourself in your customer’s shoes. iD by Landau has put together a great site with nice images to make a sound buying decision. I appreciate the way they use models so I can get a real life idea of what my restaurant will look like. iD by Landau also has many other uniform styles to shop for. They create uniforms for small businesses, Spa’s, hotels plus they can help you withe your Logo and monogram needs! I love a site that is so laser focused. This is where business needs to be!
